FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Welcome back! We look forward to seeing you at the 11th annual Scottsdale Jazz Festival on April 30, 2022. We will be updating this page between now and the Festival with the most up-to-date information, so keep checking back to have all your questions answered.

 

LOCATION

The 2022 Festival site is located on the northeast lawn of Scottsdale City Hall. The address is 3939 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

TICKETS
The 11th Annual Scottsdale Jazz Festival will feature one main stage. The Festival is entirely outdoors to ensure the health and safety of our audience, volunteers, and artists.

Tickets are all digital this year. When you purchase your tickets you will be sent an email with your ticket link. You will be able to download the tickets to your phone and/or print your tickets. Be sure to bring your tickets with you to the Festival. We will not have a box office or will-call office at the Festival site.

MAXIMUM ORDER
Up to 8 tickets can be purchased in any one order. For larger groups, please call 480-463-4797.

 

REFUNDS
The Scottsdale Jazz Festival has a no-refund policy and all sales are non-refundable. Scottsdale Jazz Festival will not be accepting donated-back tickets in 2022.

 

GATE & SHOW TIMES
The main entrance to the Festival site will open at 1:00PM. Live music will begin at 2:00PM. The festival officially kicks off at 3:00PM. For more information about the exact artist lineup and times click HERE.

 

PARKING
Free street parking, lot parking and garage parking is available within walking distance of the Festival site. Here are some options:

Civic Center Library Parking Garage: 3803 N Drinkwater Blvd.

Scottsdale Passport Office: 7447 E Indian School Rd. This surface lot has access off of 1st Ave.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church: 7655 E Main St. - $10/vehicle

 

We recommend utilizing local rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) to avoid limited parking availability. Parking lots and garages open well in advance of the gate opening time. Come down to Old Town Scottsdale early to enjoy brunch at one of the many great restaurants.  

HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring that you have a wonderful Festival experience this year, with confidence in the procedures designed for a safe environment for all. As we get closer to the event, we will be announcing the onsite protocols regarding proof of vaccination, negative tests, and masking. We are planning an outdoor Festival to ensure the comfort, health, and safety of our audience. Click HERE for the most recent policies.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICIES
We invite you to enjoy a wide variety of food and beverages available for purchase at the Scottsdale Jazz Festival. As per the State of Arizona and Maricopa County, food, glass, and beverages in containers cannot be brought into the Festival site with the exception of one bottle of water. A stainless steel or other non-breakable individual-use water container is allowed. No picnic baskets, coolers, or barbeques are allowed. No alcohol may be brought into the Festival site. Alcohol and containers will be disposed of at the entrance gates and not returned. Every person who enters the Festival site is subject to search by security personnel.

 

PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
ADA seating is available close to the stage. Please call 480-463-4797 if have any specific questions. A passenger Loading/Unloading area with ADA access is located at the Main Entrance to the Festival site on 75th St. 

A limited amount of ADA parking spaces are available on 75th St. near the Festival Main Entrance. Parking is first-come, first-served.

 

DO'S & DON'TS
We want all of our fans to have an enjoyable and safe experience at the Scottsdale Jazz Festival. Please help us ensure everyone's security, comfort, and convenience by following these rules. Thank you and enjoy the Festival!

 

FOR YOUR SECURITY
Every person is subject to a security search. Please be prepared for Security to search your belongings. Security reserves the right to refuse entry to the Festival site. The Scottsdale Jazz Festival works with a professional security firm, and the City of Scottsdale police department to ensure the safety of our patrons.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING

The following items are not allowed

  • Food, coolers, glass bottles, containers, or alcoholic beverages

  • No blankets in the lawn section due to limited space

  • Camera or cameras with detachable lenses of ANY SIZE

  • Flash for photos, tripods, monopods, laser pens, laser lights

  • Audio or video recording devices

  • Pets. No dogs allowed.

  • Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the Festival site

  • All cell phone ringers must be turned off during the performances

  • Strollers are not allowed in the Festival site

  • Security may confiscate items or have you remove items from the Festival site.

PLEASE DO BRING

The following items are allowed and encouraged

  • Electronic ticket or a print-at-home ticket

  • Personal items and medications

  • Additional clothing for changing weather conditions and temperatures

  • One sealed plastic bottle of water per patron is permitted

  • If you purchased a Lawn Seat, don’t forget your low-backed lawn chair. Chairs will be available to rent.

  • A smile and a good attitude!

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
An array of food and vendor shopping will be available throughout the Festival site.

 

FESTIVAL ENTRY POLICIES
Your ticket allows one (1) entry to the Festival site. Ticket holders must exit and enter through the Main Gate on 75th St. for readmittance. If you have questions prior to the Festival, please send an email to andrew@scottsdalejazzfest.org or call 480-463-4797. If you have questions during the Festival, please ask one of our many volunteers.

SMOKING and VAPING POLICY
Smoking of any type and vaping is not permitted anywhere within the Festival site.

 

COURTESY TO FELLOW FANS
As a courtesy to fellow patrons and our performing artists, please remember to turn off all cell phone ringers while attending the Festival performances. Please do not use flash photography of any kind, with any device. Please do not wear large hats or sit on multiple cushions that will block the view for the fans behind you.
